Community Health Projects started in the year 1976 and have been completed succesfully for nearly 50 years. EHA now runs 44 Community health and development projects to address the issues of poverty by promoting adaptive livelihoods in the farming, non-farming and skilling sectors. Our research programmes are carried out by international support as well as the Indian Council for Medical Research. EHA partnered with various state governments and the government of India in policy development, programming and capacity building.
